Stozenthaler Council, one of the largest and most active in New York State, includes men of all ages who perform charitable service to others and enjoy the benefits of stronger family life and deeper faith.
A Catholic women's organization, which affiliates itself to the Knights of Columbus. The patroness of the Columbiettes is the Blessed Virgin Mary - let us be ever mindful of the responsibility which is ours, by emulating her in purity, and by imitating her as a Mother, for we, as Catholics know, that she is the foundation of all true motherhood.
The Ancient Order of Hibernians is a Catholic fraternal organization whose members have lineage to Ireland. The A.O.H. is a world wide organization that promotes "friendship, loyalty, and Christian charity". St. Columcille - Division 4 encompasses the South Shore parishes. The St. Columcille Irish Cultural Center is an affiliation of this division.
Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians
The L.A.O.H. is affiliated with the A.O.H. and performs community service and charitable fund raising. The L.A.O.H. maintains the prerequisite of having blood lines to Ireland, and be in the good graces of the Catholic Church.
The Virgin of the Barangay (Our Lady of the Village)
The Virgin of the Barangay group meets monthly for Mass and devotion to Our Lady of the Barangay. In addition, an icon of Our Lady is transferred from home to home throughout its membership to pray the Rosary as a family.
The teen club is geared towards grades 8-12. Its primary function is to act as a social and faith-based organization for this age group. The group meets every Sunday night in Finn Hall from 7:00-8:30. The greatest gift we can give young people in this day and age is the gift of faith. It is our hope that the teen club will aide in this work of handing on the faith that we received from our elders. For more info, please visit our Teen Club page

Religious Education for students in the public schools. The goal of our catechetical program is to teach students what a Catholic believes, involve students in the life of the parish (worship, service, and community), assist parents in imparting the Catholic faith to their children as a living and life-giving faith, and encourage parents to continue their own religious development. For more info, please visit the religious ed page of this site.
Family School Association (FSA)
The mission of the St. Joseph - St. Thomas Family School Association is to provide opportunity for open communication among all members of the school community; to help nurture and display the positive Christian spirit of the school; to support the faculty, administration and school with a corps of volunteers to organize fund-raising and spirit-centered events and special programs that enrich the school days of our children and express our commitment to quality education in the Catholic tradition. Membership belongs to all parents of St. Joseph - St. Thomas School children.
Our Bereavement Ministry offers support groups to both adults and children (in separate groups) grieving the loss of a loved one. In a confidential setting, the groups offer the participants a safe place to talk, cry and share feelings with those who understand and care. Our children's program also deals with divorce and other types of separation.
The bible study meets on Thursday nights at 7:30 PM in Finn Hall. We are currently in the final chapters of studying Genesis. The purpose of the study is to deepen our Catholic-Christian faith within the framework of studying God's divine word, the Sacred Scripture. The Church since its inception 2000 years ago has the used the scripture as once source of the divine word. We are trying to maintain that tradition by using the guidelines of the Church to interpret scripture properly. The group is open to anyone interested in deepening their love of Christ through His word.
